Your crew was here on Wednesday and Thursday of this week and did a great job weatherizing our house.
We had bath fans installed and routed out of the house, eaves floors and kneewalls insulated, studwall to the garage was drilled and densepacked, top attic was air sealed and insulated, crawlspace foundation under mudroom was sprayfoamed.

We definitely feel the house is warmer throughout, more comfortable, not as dry. We are setting the programmable thermostats's comfort set point back one or two degrees and we don't notice the boiler coming on nearly as much.

We are just amazed with the difference we see from the insulation. We turn down the heat in the master bedroom upstairs at bed time from 68 to 64. The temperature in the room declines to 64 only at the end of 10 hours and even then does not signal the heating system to turn on (not reaching 63). In the past we would hear the heater turn on multiple times during the night. Your people did a great job and should be commended; please tell them how much we appreciate their work. I used to build F-16s and we gave great attention to quality of workmanship (people died if we messed up). Your people also showed an attention to detail that I did not anticipate - a very pleasant surprise.

Newell and Crathern performed an energy audit and installed the recommended measures on my home last fall. Thank you so much for your excellent work yesterday and today. We were most impressed by your team, their professionalism, efficiency, courtesy and attention to detail. As a token of our appreciation, we supplied lunch to the team today, but were sorry Ted was not here to join in as well. Adam initially thought that maybe Ted was able to get us to qualify for a rebate and was going to check with Ted. Andy didn't think we would qualify. I didn't hear back but my wife did write a check for the full amount, so I am assuming we don't qualify. If you could confirm that, I would be most appreciative. Thanks again. Thank you for the fantastic job your crew did at my house today. In addition to the work I expected, they also replaced my dryer vent with a better-fitting rigid one, weatherstripped around my front door, and custom-cut and installed plywood for a small storage space that only had insulation between the beams. The team was courteous, took care when moving my personal belongings and furniture, and cleaned up when they were.
